The Jane Nomad is a tough, versatile, lightweight, multi purpose stroller that’s very good at all things and is truly exceptional in others!

The first thing you will notice about Nomad is the quality and weight. The oval tube chassis and seat are larger than most strollers,yet when you lift Nomad, the chassis weight is only 6.5 kilograms just one kilo heavier than an everyday baby buggy. Nomad has all round spring suspension and swivel front wheels, which can easily be locked.

Underneath Nomad there is a huge shopping basket which can be accessed from both the side and rear. Nomad’s rear wheels can be easily removed simply by pushing the button located in the middle of the wheel. Both of Nomad’s rear wheels are ball bearing raced making it a pleasure to push.

The Nomad has the ability to change rear suspension strengths from hard to soft dependant on weight of load and terrain. Located in the middle of the rear axle is a sleeve onto which you can quickly clip on a “Surfer Board”, Jane’s own version of a buggy board. Finally, on the rear axle is located the parking brake which is engaged simply by pushing it down with your foot.

On the back apron a rear pocket is provided, ideal for mobile and keys and this apron can be easily removed to convert the hood into a very useful sun canopy. Nomad’s large, highly comfortable seat does not have to be removed before folding and this is a significant advantage over many other pushchairs. To erect the pushchair, simply push down on the locking lever and jerk back. Note the handle has three different heights and in general Nomad will suit everyone between 5 feet and 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Nomad is suitable from birth and boasts a multi position leg rest, a bumper bar with removable, washable covers and a large wide seat which adjusts and locks into a multitude of positions simply by pulling the two straps located on the rear of the seat.

Strata: is perhaps the type of product you would most expect on a travel system………. a rear facing infant carrier car seat and Jane do not dissapoint as Strata easily fits on to many Jane pushchairs including Slalom, Powertwin, Twin Two and Carrera. Like most infant carriers, Strata is suitable for babies from newborn until they achieve the weight of 13kg, which is about 28 pounds. As a rough guide your baby will probably reach this weight at about one year to fifteen months of age. Strata can literally, with one hand, drop onto the chassis of a compatable Jane pushchair and it will automatically lock into place. To remove the Strata from the pushchairs chassis simply squeeze the button located underneath the handle.

Whats unique about Strata is that its internal shape changes as little one gets older and the harness height is adjusted (this all being achieved automatically). This means your newborn is in the preferred (healthier) flatter position for the first few months and the seat deepens and grows as your child gets bigger.!!!

Strata will fit into virtually every car without any problem whatsoever but if your car has either very long seat belt stalks, deep bucket type seats, or some other unusual hazard or feature, please contact the Baby2K in car safety department or your local in car safety professional. If you are unsure, we would always advise that you seek professional help and that you try a car seat in your car before you buy. Please note that you can not place any infant carrier, in a seat of a car if it has an active airbag and that you must read and comply to all the products instructions. This advice applies to all car seats irrespective of brand or model of seat.

Strata also has the great advantage over many other infant carriers that its handle is so strong that it can be positioned rear facing and help the carrier from anti rotating in rear end collisions. To do this, fully pull and hold the trigger located on the handle and then move the handle so that the orange markings line up. Other great features include “Spa music” (a little removable music box in the Strata’s hood, insect net in the hood, washable fabrics etc.
